Jaime talks about what it takes to be an ambassador for Busselton Jetty Swim, what it means and how you do it.
My favourite quote of the episode is "I think that, engaging with the swimmers and the families, the participants down there, hopefully providing something positive to them and inspiring and motivating. And not everyone has the swim they wanna have. There are gonna be ups and downs and people who are disappointed about how they went, but it's also, you know what, we don't always have the race and swim we wanna do. So it's like, what are you gonna do with it? Do you know? Do you wanna just leave it there? Well, do we want to use it again? Doesn't mean this defines you. We can just choose more goals, and you learn from it. Say you got pushed under at the start and you couldn't get your bearing and then you fell off, whether. someone slower beat you. That's okay. That's okay. That's why I think some people get quite upset about that. And that's all part of the learning when we do these swimmings and our challenges. You can't just expect to have highs and good things all the time because otherwise it's not challenging. Yeah, it's not challenging if everything went perfect every time we did it. We need something hard and difficult so it makes you want to come back, makes you want to get fitter and stronger, makes you want to practice in the ocean more for next time. Because you learned the way you did it that way didn't work this year, so I'm going to try something different next year."

Shane talks about what it takes to lead Collie Trail Runners, what it means and how to do it.
My favourite quote of the episode is "It's also a matter of not distracting the group as well because a lot of them are new to trail running as well. So they are probably watching the runners feet in front of them. So calling out if there's any obstacles, any tree roots or toe grabbers as I call them, because any rocks and tree roots they certainly grab the toes and bring you down. Keeping them aware of any obstacles or anything else they may not be aware of. But in saying that, if there's kangaroos or things out on the track that are worth mentioning, either to have a mini break or whatever, just to point out these wonderful things out on the track."

Taarna talks about what it takes to be a competitive swimming coach, what it means and how you do it.
My favourite quote of the episode is "It's been a long journey, but like over the last five years, I can see how far the club's come. And my swimmers are, they're teenagers now, like when I first become head coach they were like nine. And now they're teenagers and, becoming really good swimmers, really good competitive swimmers. And yeah, to see them growing and how well they're doing, not only at swimming, but, in school and outside and other sports and that. I just know that I'm helping to make and create, successful people."

Cara talks about what it takes to homeschool their son, the benefits they see and how to do it.
My favourite quote of the episode is "I've built community through homeschooling. I guess the great thing about meeting other homeschoolers is also learning different ways of teaching. If a child might be having difficulty with something, making suggestions of what maybe you've tried. The curriculum that I'm actually using at the moment was because another homeschooling mum recommended it to me. And then I recommended it to another homeschooling mum who said, this is great because I've been really struggling with my child and she's now really enjoying this curriculum. So in that sense, it's really great. I really appreciate the community that we've found because we don't just talk about homeschooling. We also share many similar values in regards to family and health and lifestyle. So just having those types of conversations with people who share the same values is also really beneficial. We've just met a whole new group of friends, which has been fantastic."

Wayne talks about classic rally cars, what it takes to have one, what it means to share the experience and how to do it.
My favourite quote of the episode is "So it might sound silly that we get into a race car and go belting through the forest with big trees at 200 Ks plus an hour and feels relaxed. But, I guess if you ask anyone who does any type of speed event, everything slows down. You get used to it very quick, and it's, I don't play golf, so it is an out, for me, it's a way of relaxing and clearing the head and, stopping the black dog from chasing me around"

Jon talks about raced marathons, what it took him to complete 100 raced marathons, what it means and how to do it.
My favourite quote of the episode is "To me, failure is essential really. So I've had several did not finishes in races where I've actually so a couple of ultra marathons. One of the races the Delirious West I went back a second time. So this is a 200 mile race and it was probably within the first 10km I rolled my ankle to the point where I couldn't run on it, so I had to pull out of that race. But some of these failures, they make us a better runner as well, so there are setbacks along the way. But it's, sometimes you have to accept the race wasn't meant to be on that particular day for whatever reason. So failure's part of success, really. So you become a more resilient runner, and it helps give you that mindset of growth for future success."

Theo travels to South Australia (and Italy) to contest the Under 17 Australian Cycling Championship and talks about what it takes, what it means and how to do it.
My favourite quote of the episode is "Yeah, it can be training load, it could be the places you're riding, it could be the food you're eating. A lot of it is wash, rinse, repeat. Like it is in many sports, you have to practice and practice and practice. So, I feel like just having the knowledge that in the end it'll work out, it really helps you."

Sue-Maree hikes the cape to cape and shares with us what it takes, what it means and how to do it.
My favourite quote of the episode is "We know that hiking really promotes mental and physical health and wellbeing. And I think not just for me, but I think for everyone who does hike, that must be quite a large part of it. And there's that natural ebb and flow, I think, when you're hiking. And I think we spoke about it earlier, where there are the really good moments of hiking and that, that joy and wonder, but also the times where you're doing a little bit more soul searching. And when you're walking with friends, that is a lovely connection piece as well. There are times when you're walking along chatting about anything and everything. And then just naturally there'll be other times where everyone's sort of walking alone in their own heads and that's okay too. And it's a very comfortable place to be, I think."
